Windsor Sackback

When most people think of a Windsor chair, this is the style that most often comes to mind.

Red Oak Log Split

This Red Oak log was approximately 16" in diameter, 10 feet long and perfectly straight.  A great tree that yielded many chair parts.

Computer Station and Book Shelves

The computer monitor is hidden behind the double doors that open 180 degrees.  The "drawer" above the knee hole portion of the cabinet is actually a drop down door for a slide out keyboard (see below).  With a more modern computer there would be no need to house the tower on the floor.  The two bottom drawers on each side of the cabinet are actually double depth file folder drawers with conventional drawers above.

Writing Arm Chair

This chair takes the elements of a desk and drawers and combines them with a Highback Windsor to create a beautiful and multifunctional piece of furniture.

Highback Windsor

From the arms down this is chair is identical to the Sackback Windsor.  The longer spindles and crest rail give it a commanding presence at the head of the table.
